The City of West Torrens benefits greatly from the good work that schools, community groups, businesses and individuals do to protect and enhance our local natural environment.

Applications for the next round open on 7 December 2009 and close at 5pm on 24 February 2010.

Environment awards

This category is open to schools, community groups, individuals and businesses in the City of West Torrens that have undertaken a project or action that contributes to improving our environment.

Environment grants

This category is open to not-for-profit organisations such as community groups, service clubs and schools.

Environment grants provide assistance to implement an environmental initiative that will benefit the natural environment and enhance the quality of life within the City of West Torrens.
